I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I picked up the camera to see what I had taken for pictures during the month of December and there wasn't much there... So this post will be more words than pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit from our great-uncle, who was here to spend a week with Grandma.  He introduced us to this fascinating website: The Bible Project  .  I don't feeling like trying to explain it, so you'll have to click the link and then click the "Explore" and check it out yourself.  Thanks for coming and spending some time with us Uncle Frank! And there was music night- Probably the highlight of the night was our arrangement of "12 days of Christmas" using 12 different instruments! ---  Major concentration was needed to make this work, but the crew rose to meet the challenge and our performance of it went pretty smooth. We also enjoyed singing some newer Christmas songs, old traditional carols, a cowboy style song, and sharing the Chris...

November update:

Let's see- November- we had snow for most of it, and some chilly days. We had a fun music night that included this fun challenge that was practiced just before hand!  We moved Nate's cattle home as detailed in the last post. Deer season- Matt put a nice one down opening day!! A 10 pointer that had a broken point so is really only a 9 pointer.... He's got quite a story and let's just say it took more than one shot this time....He wasn't going to let it get away! We played music for a Thanksgiving Eve service at a church about 1 1/2 hrs Northeast of here. It was a great concert and we met some very nice people. They fed us some really yummy pie afterwards too! (I was surprised to see one of my student families walk in... Actually I don't know who was more surprised- my student or myself!).
