If you missed it you can check it out here . It began on Dec 14th, Tuesday night, as a wet, winterey mix, which is never a something we want. It coats everything: every pine needle, every branch, every twig in a layer of ice. This makes tree branches very heavy, and often times results in the branches breaking off. Wednesday morning it started snowing. Area schools cancelled Wednesday so I stayed home, Mom and Dad made it to town for an appointment, Laura and Silas went to work, farm life carried on as normal. By the end of the day the snow was starting to add up and Laura and Silas had a bit more challenging time getting home, but it wasn't too bad.
