November

November came in with snow

 The perfect type of snow for.....

SNOWBALL FIGHTS!

It was kind of pretty but I'm glad it left towards the end of the month. 

Deer season came and brought with it a good showing of blaze orange on my brothers-but as of now, nothing has been shot. (Except a raccoon, but that was totally unrelated to deer hunting) 

I (Emily) was in a wedding for a good friend of mine. Honestly, I had no idea that weddings could be so much fun! I had a great time! :) It was an honor to be part of this special day when two Christians committed themselves to each other before the Lord. 

Thanksgiving: We have so much to be thankful for! Mom and us girls had quite a bit of time together as we prepped food on Wednesday and Thursday. 

 We hosted dinner at our house for some of Mom's family and it was nice to spend some time with extended family members, who we don't get to see very often.

After dinner a Dutch Blitz game was started- At first it looked like this:

Ha ha- some serious playing! 

It turned out to be a very long game!! 

I hope that you had a happy Thanksgiving and got to spend some time with your family and friends. However, just because the day has come and gone doesn't mean we can be done giving thanks for the year... I hope that we all continue to give thanks to God everyday for the gifts that He gives us.

December is coming and we've just started to work on our Christmas music for a couple upcoming gigs. We have picked most of the ones we want to do but probably need a couple more yet... What is your favorite Christmas song? Let us know in the comment box below and we just might do it! :) 

Today's projects included beginning to enlarge Nate's corral and cutting some firewood. The mild weather makes these type of projects much more enjoyable.
