As usual, life has been in full swing around here this summer! It's a busy time of year with making hay, fixing equipment breakdowns, tending gardens, and animal care. We are thankful for the moisture we've been getting and the grass is growing and some of our hay fields produced really well for first crop- for which we are thankful.
I took these pictures throughout the past couple months, with intentions of sharing them sooner- so some of these aren't very recent any more but I decided to share them anyway! - Enjoy a peak into our summer.
The goats greatly enjoyed grazing around the a log pile.

Action Shot! Getting milk/keifer ready to feed the calves.
Keifer is a cultured product, the keifer grains are added to the buckets of milk and adds many benefits to the milk. Before feeding the calves, the grains are strained off and added to new milk for the next feeding.
One of the kittens born this summer.
Most of our garden plants are also doing well- This is a row of carrots.
We've made lots bales of hay so far this year!
